The Market Livestock Sale Program was created to allow 4-H and FFA members an
opportunity to bring their market projects for judging and sale at the county fair.
As part of their project, youth are encouraged to invite potential buyers to the
livestock auction.
There are many ways to help, even if you are not interested in obtaining an
animal for meat.

Hi my name is Daniel Boggs. I am 11 years old and going to be a sixth grader
at Willapa Valley Middle School. I am a member of the beef Buster's 4-H
club. I've been showing beef and pigs for 6 years, this is my third year
showing a market animal. This year I have a market hog. Her name is
Priscilla Pigsley. She is a Hampshire/Yorkshire cross. I feed, brush and walk
her every day. The money I raise will pay for my feed bill & upkeep of
Priscilla. I will also use the money to purchase my next year's pig. The rest
will go into my savings account for college Thank you for your time.

In the fall of 2015, a group of Pacific County residents decided to take action and form a foundation with the sole purpose to enhance and support the Pacific County Fairgrounds.
Their hope was to foster additional community involvement and participation in fairground events and maintain the amazing history of our local County Fair.
